What is Count Day?
Count day is when all public schools in Michigan are mandated through the State School Aid Act to tally the number of attending students. This information is critical to our school and we need your help!
What do I need to do?
On Count Day every student should log in to Pearson Online Classroom and submit at least one assignment in every class to be “counted.” You will have from 12:01 am to 11:59pm to get assignments submitted! That means you could be “counted” before most people even wake up Wednesday morning if you’re a night owl or early bird! Your homeroom teacher or other GLLA staff will be reaching out throughout the day until you have met the minimum participation requirement for Count Day.
