Social Enrichment
At Great Lakes Learning Academy, we recognize the value of extracurricular activities on academic and personal development and recommend all students find a way to be involved! We have many options for students to choose from so they can develop a new skill or interest and feel more connected to their school community!
GLLA Esports Club
More information available HERE
Great Lakes Learning Academy has partnered with the Global Clubs and Activities Department to create our very own GLLA Esports Team! No deadline to join the club but competitive rosters are set in October.
Connections Esports members must commit to attending weekly team meetings. In addition to team meetings, competitive gamers must commit to attending team practices and competitions weekly. Most of these activities will occur during traditional after school hours in the late afternoon or evening. Just like a traditional sport, students are asked to make a serious commitment to participate in Connections Esports. Competitive gamers are expected to train every day!
If you are interested in signing up for the GLLA Esports Team, have your Caretaker log into Pearson Online Classroom and follow these sign up directions. If you have any questions, please webmail the Connections Esports Coordinator. More Information on our GLLA Esports site!
