Report Card/Transcript
The student’s most recent report card (for grades 6-8) or transcript (for grades 9-12th) are required for enrollment so the counseling department may begin placing your student in classes. Although we will reach out to your previous school to transfer all student records after your student is fully enrolled, we will need you to be able to provide this information beforehand. You can do so by contacting your previous school and having them send this information to you or fax it directly to us.
Our Great Lakes Learning Academy registrar will send a full records request to your former school as soon as your student is officially enrolled in GLLA. This is important to know because your previous school may contact you about truancy if your student is not in class. It is important to submit all the above information in a timely manner because your previous school cannot withdraw your student until they receive a records request from us and we cannot request records until your student is officially enrolled.

Family Orientation
Once you are enrolled your student and caretaker can begin completing the online family orientation program in your Pearson Online Classroom login. Take note, the student must be logged into their account to complete this orientation (not under the caretaker’s login). The family orientation provides guidance and clear expectations about what students need to know to be successful in online school and how Learning Coaches can support and empower their students during the school year.
